Account Deletion

We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to permanently delete your LangFusion account and all associated data.

What Does Deleting Your Account Mean?

When you delete your LangFusion account, all data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our systems. This action is irreversible and cannot be undone.

Account profile: Your user identifier, email address (if provided), and authentication tokens
Learning progress: All XP points, streak counts, quiz statistics, and completion history
Saved vocabulary: Your personal vocabulary library and all saved words across all languages
User settings: Selected languages, preferences, and any customization you've made

How to Delete Your Account

Method 1: In-App Deletion

You can delete your account directly from the LangFusion mobile app:

    Open the LangFusion app on your device

    Navigate to your Profile tab at the bottom
  3. 3
    Tap on Settings (gear icon)
  4. 4
    Scroll down and tap “Delete Account”
  5. 5
    Read the warning and confirm deletion

Method 2: Email Request

Alternatively, you can request account deletion via email:

  • Your account email address
  • Your user ID (if known)
  • Confirmation that you want to delete your account

Data Retention Policy

Processing time: Your account deletion request will be processed within 30 days of submission. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

Legal retention: Some data may be retained for a limited period if required by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or accounting purposes. This data is minimal, restricted, and not used for any other purpose.

Analytics data: If your usage data was included in aggregated analytics, it will be de-identified and cannot be traced back to you after account deletion.
